NIGHT MOVES
I’m Sky. I’m an artist and a writer, and I’m trying to reclaim my attention in a world hellbent on frying my brain.
These days, I often question my relationship to focus and attention, my creativity, and the permission I give myself to play—or rest. I find it hard to finish things I start, or to even know what needs tending, both in my work and personal life.
I created Night Moves as a digital group space to “get shit done.” Instead, it became a space that fosters a gentle, safe, pressure-free sense of togetherness while individuals explore what it is they really need. Did you know it is actually a radical act to devote three hours to yourself every week?
Some people come to simply practice what it feels like to carve out time for themselves. Other people come to strengthen their intuition and self-trust on how to relate to this “free time.” Some people actually just get shit done. In all cases, it’s nothing short of magic.
INTRODUCING
NIGHT MOVES: MAY
RECLAIMING YOUR ATTENTION AND DEVOTING THREE HOURS A WEEK TO YOURSELF IS A RADICAL ACT
Join me in May on Zoom during Tuesday evenings from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM PST for four sessions of togetherness to rest, read, study, paint, garden, work on your portfolio, write letters to friends, quilt, bake, write poems, or collage. Reclaim your attention. Relax. Focus, ever so gently!
This is a Zoom space that feels like a digital town hall without walls. It is nice—and safe—to be in.
We can’t all be in each other’s studios or living rooms—nor would we want to be! But we can hold space for each other in the background while maintaining quiet focus together.
NIGHT MOVES offers 12 hours in May for you to GIVE ANYTHING TO YOURSELF.

Each session begins with an optional 15-minute check-in, where you can introduce yourself, share your heart and mind, or what you're working on (in individual 3-minute bursts). We make lists of WHAT WE ARE NOT GOING TO DO during this time.
Then we stay together in silence, sharing deep focus (and playlists) until the session ends.
Examples of what people do: garden, quilt, write, play guitar, send emails, clean, stretch, read, journal. We may or may not wear bucket hats in solidarity. We will check in at the end to celebrate wins, commiserate over shared struggles, and ground down before bedtime.
Cameras on or off. Come and go as you please.
All you need is a computer or a phone, a comfortable setting, and yourself.
NIGHT MOVES sessions are final sale and nonrefundable.
All participants will receive two emails from me each week containing our schedule and Zoom link.
